We are seeking a detail-oriented Digital Asset Manager for our consumer products client. This role is 40 hours per week, hybrid 3 days/week (Tues-Thurs) in Marlborough or Boston, MA.

Your Responsibilities

  • Own ongoing ingestion, organization, and maintenance of DAM.
  • Ensure all digital assets are strategically named and filed, meet brand guidelines, and are readily available for digital distribution across a wide variety of channels globally.
  • Develop and run global structure taxonomy and metadata schema, standardizing across the division to ensure alignment and compliance with each division's requirements.
  • Lead the ongoing development, improvement, maintenance, and documentation of digital asset management (DAM) system, policies, procedures, guidelines, and usage criteria for global distribution.
  • Handle and update user permissions, permissions groups, asset accessibility and usage approvals, ensuring legal compliance and correct asset usage.
  • Investigate user issue reports and provide technical assistance as needed.
  • Facilitate and support current and future DAM program integrations and upgrades with IT.
  • Gather/Update business requirements from users to ensure evolving assets needs are incorporated.
  • Act as a Brand champion by safeguarding brand-specific assets such as logos and branded materials, ensuring only final versions are being distributed.
  • Partner with divisional leaders across marketing, design, sales, product, and IT to design, implement, and continuously improve the digital asset management platform and ensure compliance.
  • Utilizing Aprimo and other relevant tools to streamline asset management processes and workflows.
  • Conducting regular audits of digital assets to ensure quality and relevance.

Qualifications

  • 4+ Years of professional experience with DAM systems and Data Asset Management.
  • A background in computer science, library science or related field
  • Solid understanding of DAM, metadata taxonomy, SEO best practices, image archiving, strategy principles and concepts for assets and digital content.
  • Expertise in print/production standards to ensure assets are delivered and filed in the correct format.
  • Have familiarity with all creative file types (illustrations, vector files, psds, audio files, videos, MP3/MP4 files, PDFs, logos, and branded materials.)
  • In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
