Entry-Level Buyer - Chicago (Wicker Park)

Position Overview

Treasure Hunters Wanted! At Buffalo Exchange, as a Buyer, you'll join a fun, fast-paced team where your love for fashion drives you to select and price quality, on-trend clothing directly from customers. No prior experience is needed as we train you in everything from styling displays to the business side of resale.

Key Responsibilities

• Selecting and pricing a wide variety of quality, on-trend clothing directly from customers to impact your store's inventory daily.
• Keeping your knowledge of current fashions, brands, and price points up to date.
• Styling displays and store visuals to let your creativity shine.
• Operating the cash register by ringing up customers with cash and trade.
• Tagging and sorting clothing to ensure it’s ready for its new home.
• Providing top-notch customer service and going above and beyond for clientele.
• Participating in special projects and various other tasks as needed.

• A passion for shopping, clothing, and fashion.
• Excellent people skills and a love for chatting with awesome humans while working as part of a team.
