Position Overview
The Human Resources Business Partner provides full HR cycle employee relations guidance to managers, employees, and the HR team. This role partners with Regional and Store Managers across various states to drive new HR initiatives and policies, advise on performance‑related issues, and coach on all HR matters. Compensation: USD $76,000.00/Yr. - USD $87,000.00/Yr. Applications are accepted through 09/21/2025.
Key Responsibilities
- Partners with and advises managers on policies, practices, and procedures to ensure uniform application of company policy and compliance with legal regulations.
- Acts as the HR contact for assigned region(s) by receiving and investigating employee concerns/complaints and advising on required actions.
- Reviews and approves pay-related changes in the HRIS system.
- Advises managers on employee relations topics including performance management, communication, and conflict resolution.
- Coaches and educates Crew and managers for success.
- Communicates and supports the rollout of HR initiatives to regions.
- Identifies ADA, Leave, and Workers’ Compensation needs and partners with the Leaves team to initiate next steps.
- Presents HR-related training to new and promoted managers.
- Performs other duties or projects as assigned.
- Up to 10% travel required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required; Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of Human Resource Generalist or Employee Relations experience in a retail, multi‑unit environment.
- Broad HR Generalist knowledge across all disciplines from onboarding to separation.
- Working knowledge of HR laws at both Federal and State levels, including FMLA, ADA, WC, with experience handling unemployment and EEO issues.
- Demonstrated effective judgment in managing difficult situations with urgency, calm, and proactivity.
- Advanced skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding employee information.
- Confident in interacting with and influencing individuals at all organizational levels.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills across various communication channels.
- Comfortable hosting and delivering training and presentations.
- Strong comprehension skills for understanding needs and developing solutions.
- Subject matter expertise in Employee Relations.
- Experience with negotiation and mediation skills.
- Customer service oriented.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms; DayForce experience preferred.
- Strong ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- General business acumen and financial knowledge.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
