Position Overview

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) in the NGO industry within our Public Sector Vertical, you will support the NGO Sales Team by leveraging demand‐generation efforts and qualifying inbound leads to drive new business opportunities. This entry‐level role is a gateway to a client‐facing sales career at Salesforce, offering you a chance to develop core sales skills, learn from industry leaders, and make a tangible impact on our revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business pipeline by engaging inbound leads from calls, chats, webinars, and other digital channels.
  • Create a world‐class first impression for prospects and customers through exceptional service.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives to advance qualified opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Develop a keen understanding of customer needs to effectively speak to value and return on investment.
  • Continuously improve your sales skills through proactive learning, mentorship, and coaching.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be within less than 1-year of completing a Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree, or a graduate/alumni/participant of a workforce development training program.
  • Strong desire to build a career in technology sales and a client-facing environment.
  • Self-starter with high energy, a positive attitude, and a competitive spirit.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in NGOs through internships or volunteering.
  • Previous internship or full-time corporate sales experience.
  • B2B software sales experience is a plus.
