Position Overview

Brick by Brick Strategies, a public affairs consulting firm specializing in navigating local government and legislative processes, is seeking a detail-oriented Legislative Research Assistant. In this remote, part‐time role with flexible hours, you will support the creation of legislative summary reports by reviewing Municipal Government agendas and legislative documents. This position is ideal for undergraduate students interested in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, or local government affairs.Compensation: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour (Hourly, based on experience).

Key Responsibilities

  • Review Municipal Government agendas and legislative documents.
  • Write legislative summaries and potential impact analyses in a clear, accessible format.
  • Identify policy issues that may impact clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely delivery of reports within designated deadlines.
  • Conduct additional policy research as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Law, or a related field.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
