Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack - Java/React

Position Overview

As an Engineer 2 on the Rental Billing – RFS team, you will help design, develop, and modify sophisticated technology solutions that drive our business forward. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and modify complex software code independently within or across teams.
• Lead implementations, provide viable recommendations, and mentor junior team members.
• Collaborate with other Engineers to adjust architecture and improve overall solution integration.
• Monitor performance metrics and ensure adherence to established standards, processes, and testing protocols.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to unit/integration testing, and analyze software requirements for enhancements.

Required Qualifications

• Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must reside in St. Louis, Missouri, or its immediate surrounding area.
• 3+ years of Java-related development experience.
• 2+ years of experience with frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
• 2+ years of experience working with SQL (e.g., Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, Dynamo DB, or MongoDB).
• Experience with JavaScript/Typescript.
• Proficiency with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
• Experience with source control management (Bitbucket/GIT preferred) and middleware technologies like WebLogic and Tomcat.
• Commitment to incorporating security into all decisions and daily responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, MIS or a related field.
• Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Web Services (SOAP and/or REST) and React JS.
• Experience with AWS and technologies such as XSLT and XPath.
• Familiarity with IaaS code tools such as Cloud Formation or Terraform.
