Job Description

Position Overview

Join our Fitness & Wellbeing vertical as a Mobile Onboarding Engineer to make a real impact every day. Reporting into the Senior Director of Onboarding & Implementation, you will help lead the delivery of white-labeled mobile applications for new enterprise customers. In this role you’ll bridge the gap between product engineering, customer success, and design by customizing, configuring, and deploying mobile apps that reflect each client’s brand while maintaining platform integrity and scalability. You’ll work across iOS and Android codebases, manage build pipelines, and collaborate closely with clients to ensure smooth, fast, and successful app launches. Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, brand, and deploy white-labeled mobile apps (iOS and Android) for new customers.
  • Implement client-specific features, theming, and integrations using established SDKs and APIs.
  • Manage app signing, provisioning, and store submission processes.
  • Collaborate with customer success managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate customer requirements into deliverables and own the technical onboarding journey.
  • Build and maintain automation tools for faster app builds, CI/CD, and configuration management.
  • Conduct QA, performance validation, and release readiness checks, diagnosing and resolving build or runtime issues.
  • Maintain documentation and internal tools to streamline onboarding workflows.
  • Act as the technical liaison between engineering and customer success, gathering feedback to improve the white-label framework and tooling.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in mobile development using Swift, Kotlin, React Native, or Flutter.
  • Experience with app theming, configuration-driven design, and continuous integration.
  • Strong understanding of mobile app distribution including App Store, Play Store, and EMM.
  • Excellent communication and project coordination skills with client-facing experience.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, Firebase, analytics, and mobile build systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in white-label or multi-tenant mobile platforms.
  • Knowledge of fastlane, Gradle, or similar automation frameworks.
  • Understanding of backend integration and API versioning during onboarding.
  • Prior experience in a startup or SaaS environment.
