Senior Software Engineer, Android

Position Overview

As a Senior Android Engineer on the Search Platform team, you will help reinvent how users discover products, influence millions of buyers and sellers, and drive innovation with a diverse, passionate team.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in designing, building, refactoring, and releasing large-scale native apps in a distributed global environment.
• Experience in Scrum methodologies and working in Agile teams is desirable.
• Ability to own and fully develop a feature of an Android application.
• Proven expertise with Java and Kotlin on Android.
• Experience with TDD, pair programming, code reviews, and other techniques to maintain high-quality, resilient code.
• Comfort working on complex systems with an extraordinarily large customer base.
• A quality-first approach with an emphasis on designing features with testability as a prerequisite.

Benefits & Perks

• Base Pay: $115,200 - $199,700 (may vary based on location, skills, and experience).
• Total Compensation Package: May include a target bonus and restricted stock units.
