Travel Per Diem Mobile Research Nurse

Position Overview

Science 37’s Nursing Solutions Group brings together expert nurses passionate about organizing, planning, and implementing mobile clinical nurse services for clinical trial participants. The Per Diem Mobile Research Nurse is a Registered Nurse with cross-therapeutic expertise who works per diem. With interest in Science 37’s decentralized model of care delivery, the Mobile Research Nurse independently delivers patient care—in compliance with all federal/state regulations, Good Clinical Practice, and Standard Operating Procedures—and collaborates with brick-and-mortar sites when needed. This position is a travel role that requires on-site visits to participants’ homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate and provide research nurse services to qualified study participants at home
• Apply clinical research and nursing practices to develop solutions to complex problems
• Collaborate with Lead and Per Diem Mobile Research Nurses on solutioning, education, and resource support
• Participate in activities that further the operational development of Science 37 nursing service delivery
• Develop relationships with study team members and serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on all nursing processes
• Perform other duties as assigned in alignment with evolving Science 37 requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in your home state along with eligibility for Compact Licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Must be willing to travel to participants’ homes – a minimum of 1-2 days per week dedicated to supporting Science 37's study visits, with weekday/night availability; Active Driver’s License required; training to be completed within 21 days of hire
• Maintain a positive representation of the company in both participants’ homes and clinic settings

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN degree (preferred)
• Full Covid Vaccination (strongly preferred as per CDC guidelines)
• Minimum 2+ years of clinical or research experience (preferred)
• Willingness for up to 100% travel as needed for study participant visits, project team meetings, and other professional events
• Occasional travel to NYC may be required
• Ability to obtain nursing licenses in multiple states based on study needs
• Physical ability to perform nursing tasks and lift equipment up to 15 kg
• Access to a reliable vehicle for participant visits and equipment transport
• Ability to use technology effectively for participant assessments and documentation
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills

• Compensation: Starting pay range is generally within $50-55 per hour. The actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience, with additional discretionary bonuses and commissions potentially available.
