Position Overview

Iron Mountain is seeking a detail-oriented and service-minded Release of Information Specialist to join our team, focusing on the timely retrieval of Protected Health Information, accurate data entry, and professional support for healthcare providers and their clients. Work Schedule: Thursday-Saturday and every other Wednesday 6am-6pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute Information Retrieval & Data Entry: Locate Protected Health Information within various computer systems and perform high-volume data entry with precision and speed.
  • Provide Professional Customer Service: Collaborate with requestors, facility stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver clear status updates and resolve inquiries.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Verify that all reproduced work meets federal and state statutes as well as Iron Mountain’s internal security policies.

Required Qualifications

  • Service & Communication Experience: Proven experience in a customer service environment with professional communication skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong data entry skills and the ability to navigate multiple computer platforms simultaneously.
  • Quality Control: A meticulous approach to problem-solving with the ability to meet daily metrics while maintaining accuracy.
  • Industry Foundation: Experience in Health Information Management is a plus; training is available for candidates with a strong work ethic.
