Instrument Assembler - Entry Level (Urgent Need)

Position Overview

The Instrument Assembler role at a Medical Device Company in San Jose, CA is a contract position (12 Months, 40 hours/week on 1st Shift) on W2 (US Citizens or GC Holders Only). The position plays a key part in the fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices while adhering to established SOPs and quality guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs tasks involved in the fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices; sets up, operates, maintains, and troubleshoots equipment.
• Conducts quality inspections on the production line in accordance with quality specifications and SOPs.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) to two (2) years of manufacturing assembly experience.
• Effective communication skills with co-workers and supervisors.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret specifications in English and perform basic math calculations.
• Proficiency in using basic measurement tools (e.g., microscopes).
• Must be able to work flexible and extended hours while maintaining punctual attendance.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
• Occasionally required to lift or move at least 50 pounds.
