Position Overview

In this dynamic role, you will partner with Sales Operations, support accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reporting, and drive real change in a fast‐paced, collaborative environment. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting, you’ll enjoy opportunities for professional growth in a hybrid work setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and summarize customer arrangements with non‐standard terms to ensure proper revenue recognition per company policy and accounting standards.
  • Prepare and book journal entries to accurately reflect revenue and cost treatments.
  • Identify Multiple-Element Arrangements and perform revenue allocations in accordance with GAAP.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to offer pre- and post-sales support, including quote review and revenue recognition assistance.
  • Execute monthly revenue tasks and analyses, including close processes and reconciliations for deferred revenue accounts.
  • Ensure process integrity by understanding systems, transaction flows, and internal controls, while recommending efficiency improvements.
  • Support internal and external audit activities, including SOX compliance.
  • Assist with special projects and provide fresh insights to enhance processes during periods of rapid growth and technological change.
  • Demonstrate flexibility as some late nights and weekends may be required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration or Financial Accounting.
  • Minimum three (3) years of accounting and analytical experience.
  • Experience with ASC 606 compliance guidelines.
  • Knowledge of accounting for Multiple-Element Arrangements.
  • Excellent analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Commitment to quality and meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or the ability to qualify.
  • Recent public accounting experience or revenue experience with a publicly traded company.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
