Cardio Vascular Tech

Position Overview

The Cardio Vascular Tech provides advanced patient care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center. This role is responsible for monitoring patients before, during, and after procedures while administering individualized and safe care. In addition to assisting physicians with various interventional procedures, the candidate will participate in quality improvement programs and maintain inventory control.

Compensation: $40.80 - $54.38 per hour.
Location: 94 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, NJ 07039.
Shift: Day.
Status: Full-Time.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients through all phases of cardiac catheterization lab procedures.
• Administer individualized, professional patient care using safe and efficient techniques.
• Assist physicians with Cath/PCI, peripheral interventions, structural heart cases (e.g., Mitraclip, Watchman), EP, and neuro procedures.
• Adhere to on call policies and execute special lab assignments as required.
• Participate in quality improvement programs and maintain inventory control.
• Provide age-specific assessments and care based on the principles of growth and development.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Graduate from an accredited Cardiovascular or Radiology Technology program.
• Certifications/Licenses: Current RCIS certification or RAD license; Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification; Certified/Licensed CVT or RT in NJ.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months clinical experience preferred but not required.
