Job Summary

We’re looking for a talented and passionate Industrial Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker with a strong understanding of design principles and user experience. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and clients to craft innovative, functional, and visually compelling products.

Responsibilities

• Concept Development: Generate creative design solutions and concepts through sketching, rendering, and 3D modeling that align with project requirements and user needs.
• Prototyping: Create physical and digital prototypes to test ideas and validate concepts.
• Collaboration: Work alongside engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet performance specifications.
• Client Interaction: Present ideas, concepts, and designs to clients, incorporating feedback into iterations.
• Research: Conduct market and user research to inform design decisions, keeping up with industry trends and materials.
• Design for Manufacturing: Develop production-ready CAD models and documentation for handoff to manufacturing partners.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
• Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in industrial design; experience in a consulting or product development firm is a plus.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, SolidWorks, KeyShot, and Rhino.
• Strong 3D modeling and rendering skills.
• Exceptional sketching, ideation, and storytelling abilities.
• Understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and ergonomics.
• Mindset:
• Highly collaborative with a user-focused approach.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to take feedback constructively and iterate quickly.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
