Junior Data Analyst

Position Overview

American Cruise Lines, the largest cruise line in the United States, is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join our corporate team. This role supports all master data and reporting strategies within our organization and is based in our picturesque home office in Guilford, CT.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring successful execution of ETL jobs and report accuracy.
• Providing quality assurance of imported data.
• Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines.
• Developing and analyzing reports across multiple platforms.
• Managing the reporting environment, including data sources and user permissions.
• Actively participating in UAT strategies for application change management.
• Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.
• Training end users on new reports and dashboards.
• Working effectively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 1-2 years of work experience as a data analyst or in a related field is preferred.
• Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.
• Demonstrated experience handling large data sets and relational databases.
• High-level written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be located within commutable distance of Guilford, CT.

Preferred Qualifications

• MS SQL.
• Tableau reporting.
• SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Google Analytics.
