Job Description

Position Overview

At One Medical, we are transforming the primary care experience by making quality care more affordable, accessible, and enjoyable. As a Practice Coordinator, you will lead and support your practice team to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care. You will manage daily operations including scheduling, inventory, facilities oversight, and financial support while ensuring a seamless in-office and virtual care experience. Compensation: This role offers a competitive range of $28.00 to $30.00 per hour, and is a full-time position based in Englewood, New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure operational readiness through regular team check-ins, staffing reviews, task monitoring, and end-of-month practice operations such as publishing shift schedules.
  • Provide leadership and support through training, coaching, mentoring, and team recognition.
  • Drive performance improvement with active daily management, including facilitating office huddles and monitoring performance metrics.
  • Manage inventory by ordering supplies, tracking expirations, minimizing waste, and completing counts.
  • Support the financial health of the practice through office budget review and managing copay and revenue cycles.
  • Monitor and address Net Promoter Score (NPS) responses and service recovery cases, escalating issues when needed.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Leadership and the Operations Manager to support quality health outcomes, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Utilize the C-I-CARE framework in all patient interactions to ensure a fluid and positive experience from intake to follow-up.
  • Oversee front of house duties including check in/check out, insurance verification, paperwork, test preparation, and facility upkeep.
  • Perform clinical duties such as venipuncture services, non-blood specimen collection, EKG/ECG administration, and other extended scope tasks.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or lead role in high-touch customer service or patient-facing healthcare.
  • An active Medical Assistant certification from a recognized certifying body (e.g., NHA, AAMA, NCCT, AMCA, NAHP, NCMA, or AMT).
  • Graduation from an accredited postsecondary Medical Assistant program.
  • Proven ability to foster strong, collaborative team dynamics and maintain an engaged team culture.
  • Experience working on diverse and feedback-driven multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
