Position Overview

Automattic—the global leader in publishing, messaging, and commerce software—is building the operating system for the open web. Automattic for Agencies empowers agencies and developers to create outstanding WordPress websites and online experiences. Our sales team sources and converts leads into opportunities, and we’re looking for a results-oriented Sales Development Rep (SDR) to join us. This high-growth role is designed to kickstart a successful sales career in the tech industry.Note:Candidates residing in EMEA are prioritized.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate quality agency leads through outbound campaigns, including email, cold-calling, and social media outreach, introducing the Automattic for Agencies program.
  • Ensure a smooth handoff to other sales team members by providing detailed background information on each opportunity.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions with leads in our CRM system.
  • Report on lead generation activities, conversion rates, and progress toward targets.
  • Collaborate with the sales and leadership teams to align on goals and refine the outbound process.
  • Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly activity targets, such as the number of calls made, emails sent, and meetings booked.
