Position Overview

As Tenor grows, we’re looking for our first Marketing Manager to join our team. This marketing generalist role involves driving all of Tenor’s marketing activities and reporting directly to an experienced founder. It’s a unique opportunity to build a brand, fuel Tenor’s growth, and position the company as a leader in an exciting new space.
We’re a distributed team with our founding team and main office in San Francisco. For this role, we welcome awesome candidates from anywhere in North America.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Tenor’s growth by sharing our transformational technology story and ensuring maximum impact through innovative marketing tactics.
- Collaborate with designers and copywriters to create outstanding marketing materials, including collateral, ad creative, and conference materials.
- Utilize GTM tools like Clay and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to research, build, and launch campaigns aimed at increasing brand awareness.
- Create and manage social media campaigns with a clear focus on LinkedIn.
- Define and build Tenor’s brand voice and aesthetic to inspire and excite our audience across all marketing channels.
- Project manage conferences and field events – from scoping potential events to coordinating lead follow-up post-event.
Required Qualifications
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong eye for design with demonstrated experience collaborating with designers.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Understanding of SaaS business models.
- Technically savvy with a proven track record of using AI in day-to-day workflows.
- Minimum of two years’ marketing experience in the enterprise software space.
- High energy, passion for marketing, and a proactive self-driven attitude.
- Proficiency with LinkedIn, utilizing its platform to drive awareness and growth.
