Position Overview
To be eligible to enlist in the U.S. Navy, candidates must be between the ages of 18-34. Whether you’re aiming to work with complex networked computer systems supporting ships and submarines or pursue careers in IT, network support, computer programming, web development, and information security, you’ll receive specialized training and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- As an Information Systems Technician, ensure that critical networks and communications are designed, operated, and maintained without interruption.
- As a Cryptologic Technician Networks member, execute offensive and defensive cyber operations to protect sensitive data and track potential threats.
- As an Intelligence Specialist, collect and analyze vital intelligence data to prepare briefings that support high-ranking Navy officials in maintaining mission readiness.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizen or equivalent
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Must be between 18 and 34 years of age (17 years of age or older is noted in some cases)
