Tableau Administrator

Job Description

Experience with Tableau Online Administration activities to create and maintain the framework that enables Tableau users to publish share manage and connect to data sources and workbooks.

Experience managing a large Tableau Online environment and supporting its users.

Understanding of data extraction mechanisms and data warehousing concepts.

Experience working in MS SQL Server and/or Oracle database environments.

Responsible for clearly documenting any change to our Tableau environment architecture and automated processes.

Ability to automate monitoring and server job processes using Tab admin.

Experience using the Tableau Bridge Client to keep on-premises data up to date.

Ability to review Tableau Desktop license usage and reclaim licenses when necessary.

Experience with Tableau best practices and troubleshooting Tableau content.

Liaise with Tableau technical support for any Tableau product bugs.
