Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our innovative production team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of optimizing manufacturing processes, driving efficiency, and ensuring product quality. Duties

  • Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost reductions
  • Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing methods and workflows to enhance productivity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and maintenance to troubleshoot process issues
  • Responsible for proficient, high-quality, cost-effective job router work instructions. This includes time spent on routers for accurate estimations, machine selections, and detailed work instructions.
  • Develop detailed process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure processes meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards
  • Assist the manufacturing team to help resolve scheduling and priority conflicts at machining centers and communicate all changes to supporting personnel.
  • Assist CNC Programmers with tooling purchases for all released job routers, as necessary.
  • Review and ensure quote data is processed timely by the customer due dates and allow time for management review.
  • Mentor and motivate positive shop floor culture at all times.
  • Adhere to all company rules, policies, and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Aerodyn Management Team

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Proven experience in manufacturing process development and optimization.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and implement effective solutions
  • Proficiency with CAD software, process simulation tools, or manufacturing execution systems (MES) is a plus
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams and document technical information clearly
