Entry-Level Distribution Finance Analyst

Position Overview

Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Financial Analyst - Freight to join our TEAM! In this role, you will partner with the director of logistics finance to provide accurate and timely freight accounting and reporting, perform monthly account reconciliations, and drive cost savings through comprehensive data analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform the financial close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Track and calculate KPIs.
• Identify opportunities for reducing costs or improving efficiencies in coordination with operations management.
• Analyze the performance of key business segments to ensure optimal performance.
• Prepare ad hoc reports and provide detailed data analysis as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (MBA and CPA preferred).
• 3+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience; open to recent graduates.
• Strong strategic planning, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint; experience with financial reporting packages.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or strong interest in Big Data and reporting tools.
