Position Overview

Coyote Logistics, an RXO Company, has been acquired by RXO (NYSE: RXO), a leading provider of asset-light transportation solutions offering tech-enabled truck brokerage services together with managed transportation, freight forwarding, and last mile delivery. Headquartered in Charlotte, N.C., RXO combines massive capacity and cutting-edge technology to move freight efficiently across North America. The IMDL Specialist is responsible for executing daily intermodal freight activities—including managing customer and carrier needs, load management, container dwell tracking, and ensuring service quality to maximize profitability. Salary: $50,000 plus bonus eligibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Assignment & Knowledge: Execute daily operations for assigned intermodal accounts by understanding their growth strategies, goals, and contractual agreements.
  • Load Management: Track all customer shipments, monitor the assigned portion of the load board, and ensure loads are covered and serviced properly.
  • Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, updating clients on load status, and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Communication: Engage effectively and timely with both internal teams and external partners using appropriate channels.
  • Relationship Development: Build strong relationships with customer contacts as well as drayage and rail partners.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and communication across logistics functions.
  • Problem Solving & Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve issues related to freight movement, managing incidents and accessorials to maximize profitability.
  • Teamwork: Actively contribute to team goals and assist teammates during absences.
