Position Overview
In this role you will be responsible for checking figures, postings, and documents for accuracy; organizing, securing, and maintaining files, records, cash, and cash equivalents in accordance with company procedures; and recording, storing, and analyzing computerized financial information. You will classify, code, and summarize numerical data to compile financial records, prepare and audit various reports including bills, invoices, and account statements, and complete period-end closing procedures.
In addition, you will ensure adherence to all company policies, maintain confidentiality, protect company assets, and deliver professional communication both verbally and in writing. You will also perform light physical tasks and support your team by performing other reasonable duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy.
- Organize, secure, and maintain files, records, and cash in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information.
- Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data using journals, ledgers, and/or computers.
- Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports.
- Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified.
- Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements.
- Follow-up and resolve past due accounts and vendor invoices until fully resolved.
- Prepare daily consolidated deposits of cash received.
- Document and communicate all cash variances.
- Administer all cashier banks and contractual agreements.
- Follow company policies, maintain a professional appearance, and protect confidential and proprietary information.
- Communicate clearly and professionally, both in writing and over the phone.
- Perform physical tasks, including moving or lifting objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team objectives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
- License or Certification: None.
