E-commerce SEO Specialist

Position Overview

TheE-commerce SEO Specialistworks closely with the E-Commerce Web Marketing Senior Supervisor, UX/UI Design & Development Manager, and MIS Team to design and implement SEO strategies that drive organic traffic,revenuesand conversion rate (CR) growth. This role is responsible for maximizing the visibility of guess.eu across search engines in EMEA countries while undertaking ad hoc special projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Keyword Research – Identify and analyze the most relevant keywords for the fashion industry, target audience, and product categories.
• Optimize meta tags, descriptions, titles, URLs, Product Snippets, and OpenGraph content on various pages to improve search engine visibility and maximize organic traffic,revenues, and CR.
• Collaborate with the E-Commerce Copywriter & Content Strategist, Merchandising, Content, and UX/UI teams to develop valuable, SEO-optimized content.
• Technical SEO – Analyze and optimize the site’s technical structure including robots.txt, XML sitemaps, and Core Web Vitals (LCP, FID, FCP, TBT, and CLS) to improve loading speed and indexability.
• Plan and execute backlink reviews to maintain and enhance domain authority.
• Monitor organic traffic performance using tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
• Perform regular SEO audits to identify and fix technical or content issues impacting site performance and SERP results.
• Optimize website content for Voice Search and AI-powered search technologies (e.g., Google Bard, ChatGPT, Bing AI).

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a web-marketing environment with a specific focus on SEO.
• Proficient in GA4, Google Trends, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console.
• Strong knowledge of the Office package with excellent skills in Excel.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, XML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Previous experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud or other CMS solutions.
