Position Overview
About the position
Key Responsibilities
- Research and evaluate products based on quality, cost, and patient outcomes/project deliverables.
- Analyze price proposals, financial data, and other information to determine opportunities.
- Perform contract sourcing and analysis for presentation to clinicians and value analysis committees.
- Prepare RFP and RFI documents.
- Negotiate with suppliers, reviewing terms and conditions of contracts and establishing pricing.
- Monitor contract performance and determine necessity for amendments, extensions, and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 1-2 years Purchasing Buyer Experience required.
- 1-2 years Supply Chain Experience required.
- Less than 1 year Purchasing Manager Experience required.
- Less than 1 year Project Management Experience required.
- Less than 1 year Contract Specialist Experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree preferred.
- Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) preferred.
- Certified Professional in Medical Services Management (CPMSM) preferred.
