Position Overview

About the position

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and evaluate products based on quality, cost, and patient outcomes/project deliverables.
  • Analyze price proposals, financial data, and other information to determine opportunities.
  • Perform contract sourcing and analysis for presentation to clinicians and value analysis committees.
  • Prepare RFP and RFI documents.
  • Negotiate with suppliers, reviewing terms and conditions of contracts and establishing pricing.
  • Monitor contract performance and determine necessity for amendments, extensions, and compliance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 1-2 years Purchasing Buyer Experience required.
  • 1-2 years Supply Chain Experience required.
  • Less than 1 year Purchasing Manager Experience required.
  • Less than 1 year Project Management Experience required.
  • Less than 1 year Contract Specialist Experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) preferred.
  • Certified Professional in Medical Services Management (CPMSM) preferred.
