Position Overview

We are currently collecting expressions of interest for future opportunities on our Account Executive team. You will be responsible for prospecting and closing net new opportunities while working closely with a regional Sales Director to achieve quarterly revenue targets. Location: Miami, FL (Hybrid – Three days in-office) Schedule: Hybrid.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, competitor landscape, and emerging technologies to identify potential business opportunities; develop targeted, value-centric messaging.
  • Lead Generation and Prospecting: Proactively identify and qualify new business leads through outreach, networking, and engagement with key stakeholders.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the cybersecurity and technology space, acting as the liaison between Darktrace and potential clients.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate records of business development activities in the CRM and generate regular performance reports for continuous improvement.
  • Closing: Achieve quarterly revenue targets through the acquisition of new accounts within the assigned territory.

Required Qualifications

  • At least two years of outbound B2B sales experience selling complex software; past success in highly regulated markets is strongly preferred.
  • Experience closing six-figure and seven-figure deals, preferably within the cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise software industry.
  • Proven ability in multi-threading, cadence-building, objection handling, and creating new business opportunities.
  • Clear, working sales methodology coupled with a passion for hunting new business.
  • Confident, polished communicator with a proven ability to build strong professional relationships.
  • Demonstrated success in a target-driven, meritocratic environment with exceptional opportunities for advancement.
  • Proficiency in sales tools such as ZoomInfo, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Salesforce.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is preferred but not essential.
