Position Overview

Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Account Executive to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will cultivate new relationships, gain an understanding of our customers’ needs, and secure sales opportunities. Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the Recruit Awesome People program to promote a colleague-first culture and refer top talent.
  • Account Development: Sell dedicated accounts across physical security integration services, cyber, maintenance programs, managed services, and transformational services to increase customer lifetime value.
  • Develop Pipeline: Work with decision makers to assess needs and build a pipeline that is 3:1 over target.
  • Proposal Construction: Lead the sales pursuit team to create winning proposals, including quotes, business cases, and unique qualifications.
  • Presenting & Closing: Present proposals, manage objections related to timing, price, and competition, and negotiate timely decisions.
  • Market Focus: Identify and develop pipeline opportunities for assigned markets such as global accounts, utilities, financial/banking, healthcare, data centers, government, and education.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts: Work with designers, sales engineers, project managers, and partners to deliver winning proposals.
  • Perform additional duties as requested or required.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong affinity for problem solving and the ability to apply solutions to customer challenges.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to build customer confidence and cultivate enduring business relationships.
  • Proactive in sourcing sales and service opportunities.
  • Adaptability to business changes with an ability to influence others.
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Education: College degree, trade school, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum Experience: 1-3 years in sales or a related field.
