Cashier/Customer Service

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while processing transactions and assisting with product inquiries. Your ability to communicate effectively and your passion for sales will contribute to a positive shopping experience for our customers!

Salary: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Schedule: Full-time, Part-time

Location: In person

Key Responsibilities

• Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering their questions, and addressing any concerns.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, enhancing the customer’s purchasing decision.
• Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining product displays to ensure an organized shopping environment.
• Utilize basic math skills to process payments and provide change efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain high standards of store presentation.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to effectively assist customers.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred.
• Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with customers effectively.
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance customer interactions.
