Job Description

LOCATION NOTE

This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Austin campus.

Introduction

If you instinctively see the playbook when faced with disorder, you'll thrive here. Alpha serves students who accelerate quickly, seek challenge, and embrace genuine responsibility. We combine demanding academics with practical life skills and a focused 2-Hour Learning framework so children progress with speed and confidence. We're looking for someone who can transform a bustling school day into a streamlined, high-functioning system—every transition, every handoff, every element precisely managed.

At our Austin location, you'll be the engine that sustains momentum: protecting time for concentrated learning, maintaining safe and orderly operations, and removing barriers so Guides can mentor at peak effectiveness. You'll manage facility flow, frontline technology support, and community correspondence, building an environment where ambition is expected and independence is cultivated. If you value clear standards, decisive action, and measurable results, this role is designed for you.

Apply to build a campus where students accelerate their learning, families experience the impact, and operational precision is the foundation of everything we do.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Executing the daily schedule with accuracy so the 2-Hour Learning sessions begin punctually, remain undisturbed, and conclude effectively.
  • Managing initial tech support (device configuration, basic diagnostics) and coordinating escalations with IT teams.
  • Upholding a secure, orderly campus: emergency drills, incident documentation, vendor management, and facility preparation.
  • Communicating with clarity to students, families, and colleagues; resolving issues promptly and recording decisions.
  • Enabling campus events—orientation, supply logistics, space coordination—so the site consistently operates at readiness.

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Delivering academic instruction or developing curriculum; Guides manage student mentorship while you maintain the infrastructure.
  • Working remotely from an office; your role is front-facing and directly impacts student outcomes and family confidence.
  • Engaging in low-value tasks that don't enhance speed, safety, or learning quality.

Campus Operations Coordinator Key Responsibilities

Maintain a campus environment that is consistently safe, prepared, and conducive to focus so that students and staff can dedicate their energy to learning and development, not operational distractions.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (any discipline)
  • 2+ years managing complex operations in education, events, hospitality, or a comparable high-touch service environment.
  • Composed under pressure; proactive troubleshooter capable of balancing competing demands without sacrificing precision.
  • Proficient with basic IT support and Google Workspace tools.
  • Clear, professional written and spoken communication that builds trust.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.; able to work on-site in Austin, TX (visa sponsorship not available).
