As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing the foundation of our manufacturing systems that will support the growth of the business.

Your Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Create manufacturing solutions, develop equipment concepts, and investigate equipment costs to produce new products.
  • Write the equipment specifications and coordinate the design, build, and qualification of custom equipment for various manufacturing processes including assembly, laser welding, laser marking, and inspection.
  • Evaluate and implement improvements to custom designed machines to ensure efficiency.
  • Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes and systems to improve efficiency, productivity, cost-savings, and enhance product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on quality control, cost reduction, production methods, and maintenance to ensure seamless integration of advanced manufacturing processes.
  • Manage workload to the Program Manager's timeline to meet customer needs.
  • Support Program Manager in communications with customers, staff and management regarding project status and technical issues.
  • Prepare and present project updates and report-outs to management.
  • Conduct research to stay up to date on the latest advanced manufacturing process and developments to aid the implementation of the most effective solutions.
  • Support and provide input to improve the effectiveness of the Quality system to ensure system compliance, as well as compliance with legal requirements and other company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with any special, technical, training needs.
