Part Time Customer Service Associate

Position Overview

As a Part Time Customer Service Associate, you will interact with customers at the counter to process their rental transactions as well as consult them on the types of rentals they need, including any insurance or ancillary coverage options. Key Responsibilities

• Provide world class customer service by managing the rental (and occasionally return) process in compliance with Hertz’s policies and procedures.
• Welcome each customer with a smile and proudly represent Hertz with your professional appearance, language, and behavior.
• Ensure a clean and safe vehicle is provided to every customer, every time.
• Take ownership of each customer’s service experience by immediately addressing and resolving issues.
• Utilize approved sales and service techniques when determining customer needs and offer optional products accordingly.
• Accurately prepare all rental and return documents and verify rental agreement details.
• Assist customers by answering phones, providing directions, local area information, and resolving service issues promptly.

Required Qualifications

• Passion for customer service and attention to detail – Goes the extra mile.
• Self-motivated to achieve and exceed targeted goals.
• Strong computer proficiency including typing skills and the ability to navigate multiple systems while engaging with customers in-person and over the phone.
• Proficiency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills with proven teamwork experience.
