Warehouse Site Manager

As a Warehouse Site Manager at Capstone, you will play a key role in managing our warehouse operations and ensuring efficient and safe delivery of services to our clients.

Role and Responsibilities:

The Warehouse Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring safety, productivity, and the achievement of client and company goals. You will lead the warehouse crew and manage operational workflows. Key responsibilities include:

• Run the warehouse site with a focus on safety, efficiency, and meeting operational goals.
• Communicate daily with associates regarding performance, service levels, accountability, and pay.
• Create and maintain daily work logs, transmitting reports to corporate teams.
• Audit daily labor and billing reports for accuracy.
• Ensure customer requirements and expectations are met daily.
• Document and resolve any customer service issues or associate-related problems.
• Ensure all associates adhere to Capstone policies, including safety regulations.
• Hold weekly safety meetings and ensure full participation from associates.
• Assist with managing the site and departmental budgets.
• Schedule associate shifts based on customer requirements.
• Interview, hire, and train new associates as needed.
• Supervise data entry for services performed, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Complete daily closeouts, including cash balancing, data upload, and payroll administration.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years of management experience in an industrial or warehouse setting.
• Ability to manage, train, and motivate warehouse associates.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
• Ability to make decisions, prioritize tasks, and lead a team in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with budget management, including reading and interpreting P&L statements.
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong mental aptitude for estimating rates and performing calculations quickly and accurately.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain management.
• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
• Experience in hiring, training, and terminating warehouse employees.
• Proven track record of providing high-level customer service.
