Location: Fresno, California | Job Type: Full Time | Shift: 2nd

Compensation: $22.15/hr

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate knowledge of product specifications and general operations.
  • Apply food safety and sanitation policies to uphold product quality.
  • Train personnel to distinguish between acceptable product and product that does not meet Cargill’s quality standard.
  • Instruct and support line employees on job performance.
  • Communicate with leads, supervisors, and managers on the production floor.
  • Provide support for the area superintendent.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to taste samples of finished product to ensure it meets customer specifications and document findings.
  • Experience in training and coaching employees on product specifications and quality standards.
  • Strong problem recognition and decision-making skills.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English and have Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Internal candidates must have a good attendance record (4 points or less) and no written safety warnings.
  • Capability to perform tasks for both frozen and fresh ground beef processes.
  • Availability to work weekends, extended hours until production shift completion, and cover between shifts with less than 24-hour notice.
