Job Description
Position Overview
The Concierge is a personal representation of the service and overall hospitality of the staff at the new premium lounge by Airport Dimensions, supporting the Sapphire Lounge by the Club at Harry Reid International Airport. As the first touchpoint for guests, the Concierge sets the tone for the entire visit by greeting guests by name, checking credentials and/or processing sales, and ushering them into the lounge. Additional responsibilities include providing lounge tours and completing guest discrepancy reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Interact with guests in a premier clubroom/bar environment in a professional and pleasant manner.
- Welcome guests by name and assist them throughout their stay.
- Take full ownership of the guest’s experience from beginning to end, employing the Guest First philosophy.
- Listen attentively to guest needs and offer confident recommendations to ensure high satisfaction.
- Make quick and effective decisions in unanticipated situations, always prioritizing the guest experience.
- Maintain extensive knowledge about the lounge, guests, and surrounding area to provide accurate information.
- Communicate with guests both over the phone and in person, providing necessary details about facilities and services.
- Complete paperwork related to daily sales, passenger counts, and miscellaneous reporting in a timely manner.
- Adhere to established safety procedures and immediately report any health, safety, or security concerns.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present information effectively both one-on-one and in group settings.
- Passion for guest service and proactive problem solving.
- Ability to follow directions and procedures while managing time effectively with strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrated capability to maintain a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing demeanor under pressure.
- Ability to maintain composure, a polished appearance, and awareness of cultural differences in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for up to ten (10) hours, walk, bend, twist, and lift/move up to 40 pounds.
- Regular and timely attendance with flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a security background check and obtain clearance to work in an airport environment.
