Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with civil engineering leadership on day-to-day activities, delivering best practice civil engineering services to clients.
• Serve as the lead civil project engineer, providing direction to the design and construction teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
• Advise on project staffing needs and work with leadership to ensure appropriate resource allocation for civil engineering projects.
• Monitor the quality and consistency of civil engineering design documents, ensuring they meet regulatory, client, and project specifications.
• Elevate best practices within the civil department by coordinating shared tools, processes, and promoting knowledge sharing.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships within the engineering team and across HGA to strengthen the company’s network and collaboration.
• Foster a culture of innovation, integration, and entrepreneurship while contributing to the ongoing professional growth of the team.
• Mentor junior engineers and staff, providing guidance for their professional development and career growth.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an EAC-ABET accredited program and a current Professional Engineering (PE) license.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in the design of civil systems for healthcare, commercial, institutional, and/or higher education projects.
• Proven ability to lead the design of site improvements for complex projects with a passion for high-quality, innovative solutions.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills, especially in fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, WinSLAMM, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills and a solid understanding of civil engineering principles.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and interact effectively with clients, regulatory authorities, and project teams.
• Demonstrated capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• Compensation: Salary range: $120,000 - $142,000 (actual offer based on experience, education, licensure, and skills).
