Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Information Technology Manager located in the Washington DC-Baltimore metro area. In this role, you will oversee technology infrastructure, manage IT systems and operations, manage our IT team, and ensure seamless functionality across all platforms for our clients. The role will also involve collaborating across teams to ensure technology supports overall organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2-3 technical support for IT systems and infrastructure.
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members, ensuring high-quality service delivery
- Oversee day-to-day support operations
- Build strong relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for growth to help drive business development.
- Supervise and support team members in the field
- Architect and implement IT policies and best practices for clients to continuously improve efficiency, security, and reliability
- Ensure client systems meet compliance and security requirements
- Spend an average of two to three days per week in the field meeting clients, providing quality assurance, coaching staff and assisting with projects (Baltimore and DC metro)
- Provide ongoing training and knowledge-sharing for staff and clients
Qualifications
- Strong experience (3-5 years minimum) in IT infrastructure, systems management, and network administration
- Proficiency in hardware and software troubleshooting and maintenance
- Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and IT compliance regulations
- Project management and team leadership abilities
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Common networking certifications such as Cisco. CompTIA, Microsoft
- Common cloud certifications such as Azure, Google, AWS
- Strong reading, writing and interpersonal skills
- Clean driving record
