Audit Manager, Construction

Position Overview

Aprio, a nationally ranked CPA and advisory firm with over 2,100 team members across multiple locations, is looking for an Audit Manager to join their Assurance Team. In this role, you will help clients maximize their opportunities by managing multiple auditing projects, fostering relationships, and actively contributing to new business initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct multiple auditing projects and engagements for clients specializing in the construction industry.
• Effectively communicate with partners, staff, and clients regarding expectations and engagement status.
• Take an active role in marketing firm services to generate new business.
• Continuously foster professional relationships with coworkers and clients.
• Travel 15-20% of the time.

Required Qualifications

• 4-year Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Licensed CPA
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting
• Extensive experience in financial statement audits and reporting under U.S. GAAP for construction contractors
• Demonstrated ability in managing, coaching, and developing accountants

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree is preferred
