Description of Position

We are seeking a mature and dynamic Receptionist to join our team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming first impression for new patients and maintaining a positive experience for existing patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner
  • Check in patients and verify demographics and insurance information
  • Collect all co-pays, coinsurance and outstanding balances at time of check-in
  • Check out patients and schedule follow up appointments as needed
  • Accurately enter all new patient demographic information and scan insurance cards into EMR
  • Schedule patient appointments for all office locations
  • Answer and screen and all incoming calls
  • Assist in covering for other front office staff for vacations, sickness
  • Any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the physicians or office managers

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be flexible and available to work both mornings and afternoons
  • Competent with MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive patient information with total confidentiality
  • Must be able to work independently as well as coordinate with others

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
