Job Description

Position Overview

As a Digital Marketing / Communications Manager at Cox Communications, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in achieving revenue goals by partnering with sales teams and engaging directly with high-value clients. You will leverage Cox Media’s extensive assets—including digital media, linear solutions, and creative services—to craft tailored, multi-channel advertising strategies that meet client KPIs and drive growth. This hybrid role requires in-person meetings as well as remote work and is ideal for a strategic thinker with a passion for digital advertising solutions.

Compensation: Compensation includes a base salary of $92,300.00 - $153,900.00, which may vary based on factors such as location and candidate qualifications. Additional incentive compensation may be available.

Work Option: Hybrid – ability to work remotely part of the week. Shift: Day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understanding Client Needs: Engage with clients face-to-face and virtually to thoroughly grasp their business goals; translate these into actionable performance KPIs.
  • Developing Proposals & Creating Solutions: Lead brainstorming sessions with internal partners to devise strategies using the full breadth of Cox Media products; craft compelling client proposals that integrate digital channels such as streaming, online video, display, paid social and search.
  • Engaging Clients in the Solution: Present strategies and recommendations with the seller; serve as the subject matter expert during client pitches and address real-time queries.
  • Implementing Strategies: Coordinate campaign implementation with digital and linear fulfillment teams; act as the in-market point of contact for campaign development and optimization.
  • Analyzing Campaign Results: Interpret performance reports and insights to inform future client opportunities, ensuring continuous revenue growth and reduced churn.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and at least 6 years' experience in digital marketing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and translate client advertising needs into innovative, performance-driven solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in digital media advertising with a strong grasp of complex digital concepts and campaign development.
  • Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in PowerPoint and storytelling.
  • Ability to work onsite as required (currently two days per week) in the designated Cox market.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A degree in a related discipline is strongly desired.
  • Experience with Demand Side Platforms, Streaming Platforms, Google Ads, DV360, YouTube, Amazon DSP, Paid Social environments, and Google Analytics (Universal Analytics & GA4).
  • Familiarity with pixel strategy development, conversion tracking, and attribution practices.
  • Certifications in digital marketing platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint) are a plus.
