Position Overview

As the Head of Engineering, you will lead a world-class team to make Guidewheel the default intelligence layer for manufacturing, driving technical excellence and empowering engineers to do the best work of their careers.
Key Responsibilities
- Build an Engine of Speed: Foster a culture of fast, high-judgment decision-making and debate while serving as a mentor for your team.
- Deliver Elite Velocity: Establish and drive performance metrics such as frequent deploys, short lead times, and low change-failure rates, with a visible velocity dashboard.
- Drive Net Revenue Retention (NRR): Integrate engineering excellence with customer value to directly impact revenue retention.
- World-Class Leadership & Management: Provide coaching, clear direction, and cross-functional respect to ensure robust team performance and protected focus time for engineers.
Required Qualifications
- Proven record of leading a lean, high-performing engineering team that shipped continuously and improved measurable delivery metrics.
- Clear, concise writing and strong data-driven decision skills.
- Ability to connect technical trade-offs directly to customer value and P&L outcomes.
