Job Description
Position Overview
The Summer Associate will support all aspects of Raymond James Investment Management’s Information Technology and Operations team. This temporary role offers a chance to work in a fast-paced environment and learn about technology and the financial services industry. The position runs from June 1, 2026 to August 7, 2026 with a schedule of Monday through Friday, up to 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Support reporting, trading, data integration, and accounting applications as needed.
- Work on exciting projects with opportunities to research, grow, and learn.
- Assist in the production of high-quality and technical documentation.
- Collect and analyze information from various sources for reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify, define, and solve problems supporting corporate initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Full-time student at an accredited college/university, graduating December 2026 or later and pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, business, finance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of fundamental office practices and basic principles of software development, including object-oriented programming.
- Familiarity with tools such as Tableau, Excel, SQL, Access, Python, Restful API’s, and/or basic web development.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, document processes effectively, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Legally authorized to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
