Position Overview

In this role as Engineer III, you will develop and maintain data delivery pipelines that support our marketing operations and customer communication management. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams in a highly regulated, agile/scrum environment to build scalable, robust systems that make a real impact on the future of education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, code, test, and deploy robust software solutions with a focus on reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Lead end-to-end development of data delivery pipelines that support marketing operations and customer communication management.
  • Develop scalable and reliable applications that ensure proper data flow across platforms.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to build features that solve real customer challenges.
  • Uphold high standards of code quality through regular code reviews, unit testing, and comprehensive documentation.
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues across the software stack, troubleshooting production problems and implementing sustainable fixes.

Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, SQL).
  • Proven experience developing and deploying software in a production environment.
  • Minimum of 5+ years in software engineering or a related technical role.
  • Solid understanding of data delivery solutions and best practices.
  • Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
  • Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills along with strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced experience with AWS.
  • Experience with Snowflake and Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Prior development work supporting marketing business functions and teams.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms and tools.
  • Knowledge of data pipeline architecture and ETL processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
