Job Description
Position Overview
We are a growing, vertically integrated cannabis company in Oregon with 9 retail dispensary locations and two leading manufacturing brands. As a Marketing Manager, you will bridge our Retail (B2C) and Wholesale (B2B) operations—overseeing marketing strategy for our dispensaries (Broadway Cannabis Market and Mint Cannabis Co.) while creating trade-marketing assets for our house brands (Fire Dept. Cannabis and Feel Goods). You will manage high-level budgets and strategy while rolling up your sleeves to execute campaigns, manage vendor relationships, and oversee creative production.
Key Responsibilities
- Retail Focus – Customer Retention: Manage and optimize rewards program messaging and execute direct mail campaigns to increase customer loyalty.
- Retail Focus – Traffic Generation: Implement strategies to increase website traffic and drive online ordering for our dispensaries.
- Retail Focus – Merchandising: Develop in-store merchandising strategies to boost Average Order Value (AOV).
- Retail Focus – Campaigns: Plan and assist with monthly sales campaigns and promotions at the store level.
- Wholesale Focus – Brand Assets: Conceptualize and execute "SWAG," in-store signage, and display assets to support the sales team across 280+ retailers.
- Wholesale Focus – Trade Marketing: Ensure high brand visibility and consistency across all wholesale channels.
- General Management – Creative Oversight: Direct supervision of the in-house Graphic Designer team to ensure creative alignment with brand voice.
- General Management – Budgeting: Manage monthly marketing budgets, timelines, and cross-departmental communication based on analytics.
- General Management – Analysis: Track the performance of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies to maximize ROI.
Required Qualifications
- Proven retail (brick and mortar) marketing experience is required.
- Experience managing creative teams (Graphic Designers) is a must.
- Demonstrated ability to work across teams and prioritize tasks with conflicting deadlines.
- Must be 21 years of age or older and possess a current OLCC Marijuana Workers Permit.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting B2B/Wholesale brands is a strong plus.
- Formal education in marketing is preferred.
