Position Overview

Since its founding in 1956, Williams-Sonoma has evolved from a single store in Sonoma, CA to one of the largest retailers in home furnishings with iconic brands such as Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, and West Elm. Our Distribution Centers are vital connections between factories and our retail, online, and mail-order customers worldwide. In our dynamic and fast-paced Supply Chain environment, we seek a Supply Chain Coordinator to coordinate and negotiate inventory purchases, support inventory planning, and work across cross-functional teams for the Pottery Barn and West Elm brands. This role is based in The Colony, TX and offers strong opportunities for acquiring new skills and career advancement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain purchase orders based on the needs of cross-functional partners and supply chain constraints.
  • Communicate and manage purchase order and transportation information with agents and vendors.
  • Negotiate purchase order criteria with vendors and in-country teams to ensure the proper flow of inbound inventory.
  • Update weekly and ad-hoc reporting to ensure accuracy of inventory, costs, destination, and ship & ETA dates.
  • Track and update customer-facing order dates to properly reflect backorder dates and receipt forecasts.
  • Partner with Inventory Management, Merchandising, Sourcing, Distribution Center Operations, and Transportation teams to investigate issues and develop solutions for an efficient supply chain.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or a related field.
  • 0-1 year of relevant experience or a recent internship.
  • Onsite and in-office role.
  • Strong time management and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of retail supply chain.
