MRB Engineer

Position Overview

Long-term contracts with expectations of candidates achieving Boeing MRB Signatory Delegation.

Experience Required: Minimum 3-5 years.
Compensation: $80/hr ++ (flexible for exceptional candidates on a case by case basis).
Potential overtime available.
Location: Tulsa, OK. Must be willing to relocate to Wichita, KS or Tulsa, OK (Remote is not an option).

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out design analysis and create design dispositions for detail part and assembly non-conformances, assessing different repair scenarios for fit, form and function.
• Identify the most efficient methods for analysis while ensuring adherence to relevant airworthiness and customer procedural requirements.
• Liaise with multiple functions/suppliers (e.g., Design/Stress approvers) to ensure the most appropriate design solution with consideration to cost, time, performance, and installation requirements.
• Serve in a customer-facing role.
• Explain and escalate critical issues and mentor others as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Must be willing to relocate to Wichita, KS or Tulsa, OK (Remote is not an option).
• A minimum of an ABET Accredited BS in Aerospace Engineering (Mechanical, Design, Structural, etc.).
• Experience working on Boeing products and structures—either directly or within the supply chain—for a minimum of three years, with preference for candidates having held a delegated technical approval.
• Working knowledge of CATIA V5 for interrogation and drawing/model modification.
• Understanding of material properties, production, and manufacturing methods and practices and their effect on aircraft performance (preferably with both metallic and composite capabilities).

Preferred Qualifications

• Past MRB experience on Boeing Commercial products.
• Prior Boeing Signatory Delegation is highly desired (though candidates without prior delegation will still be considered).
• Previously held MRB Signing Authority within the past 3 to 5 years.
• 3+ years with Boeing products or within the supply chain.
• Structure/design engineer experience with Boeing commercial products.
• Previous Design Organization Approval (DOA) is advantageous for the role.
• TIPQA or MES experience is considered a plus.
