We're looking for an experienced IT Product Manager to fill this role. You'll be responsible for managing all aspects of the business applications project intake, execution, delivery, and transition to operational support – working with business stakeholders to determine project viability and benefit, defining scope, and developing estimates for applications projects across Holland America, Seabourn, and other brands, with a focus on HR Applications. As an IT Product Manager, you will also be on call and available afterhours on weeknights and weekends for urgent issues until resolution, including post-incident reviews and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Mapping: Create and maintain Business Applications roadmap.
- Process Mapping: Capture business feedback and conduct market research to create business cases, recommend feature updates and new solutions/applications.
- Process Mapping: Work closely with BA/scrum master to refine the backlog with business product owners and team members, facilitate release planning, manage dependencies, and coordinate across teams.
- Process Mapping: Create and manage documentation of features and critical functionalities.
- Project Management: Define and monitor KPIs such as revenue improvements, cost savings, productivity, and end user engagement.
- Project Management: Coordinate testing with the QA team and application users.
- Project Management: Create project plans and status reports, identify risks, and provide regular updates to IT leadership.
- Implementation/Development: Coordinate development, QA, and UAT efforts with IT and delivery teams.
- Implementation/Development: Create mockup feature designs and assist with POCs, prioritization, and scope definition alongside project stakeholders and technical teams.
- User Experience Design: Collaborate with the design team to develop intuitive and engaging user experiences.
- User Experience Design: Participate in design reviews and offer suggestions to improve usability, adoption, and customer value for guest experience applications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- At least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner or Analyst specializing in Business Applications and HR products, with a proven track record in software development projects and delivering business systems solutions in an enterprise IT environment.
- Experience with designing and launching customer-facing products or services in an agile environment.
- Experience leveraging JIRA, Confluence, or other tools to provide metrics and reports for measuring product/project success, along with a strong understanding of project management principles related to resource allocation and timelines.
- Demonstrated ability to understand technology concepts, manage trade-offs, and evaluate new opportunities.
- Strong analytical abilities to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and DevOps practices, including continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
- Knowledge of industry best practices for systems implementation, testing, and risk management.
- Ability to anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and balance business needs versus technical constraints.
- Proven capability to plan and manage multiple parallel projects.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple groups with competing priorities.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills for conveying technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Salary: $105,600.00 to $142,500.00 per year
