Inside Sales Pipe Yard

Position Overview

Join our team as an Inside Sales professional for Pipe Yard. In this full-time role, you will work 40 hours per week at a single office location and report directly to the Branch Manager. Compensation: Monthly salary will be based upon level of experience. If you excel in communication, customer service, and have a knack for building relationships, we want you on our team!

Key Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from potential customers and make cold calls to new customers
• Input sales quotes, orders, and buy-outs into the system
• Enter production orders for material needs on sales orders
• Communicate openly with sales personnel regarding quoting prices, market conditions, etc.
• Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty
• Follow up on cold and warm leads to advance the sales process

Required Qualifications

• Proven time management, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Solid mathematical skills
• Knowledge of pipe sizes and schedules
• Educational background: High School Diploma or equivalent; Vocational or Associate’s degree preferred
• Experience: 1-2 years (willing to train the right candidate)
