Job Description

Position Overview

Entry‑Level Sales Apprenticeship (Leadership Track) is designed for early‑career individuals looking for a long‑term sales career rather than just a summer job. You might be coming from retail, fast food, serving, warehouse/blue‑collar work, or customer service—or you may have skipped/left college and now want a real career. This role starts with an intensive Summer 2026 ramp (6 days/week, in‑person, door‑to‑door) and, upon meeting expectations, transitions into a full‑time, quota‑carrying sales role with a clear leadership track. Note that this is not a chill job – expect long hours outdoors, talking to strangers, and many rejections.

Successful candidates will also have a defined career path: Months 0–3: Learn the system and hit ramp quotas; Months 4–12: Progress to Senior Rep, meet higher production targets and help train new hires; 12+ months: Transition to Team Lead, run trainings, coach a small team, and earn overrides on reps’ sales. Top performers may eventually lead a full team/office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Go door‑to‑door in assigned neighborhoods to introduce homeowners to our pest control services.
  • Use a proven script to present, handle objections, and close new customers.
  • Work 6 days per week during the summer ramp – typically 8-10 hours per day, largely outdoors.
  • Attend daily morning training and role‑plays with your team lead.
  • Post-ramp, manage your own territory as an ongoing rep, meeting weekly and monthly sales quotas.
  • Track your activity and results – doors, conversations, closes, revenue, and commissions.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old by May 1 and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Available full‑time for the Summer 2026 ramp (approximately May–August, 6 days/week).
  • Willing to relocate and live in shared housing with teammates during the ramp.
  • Comfortable with commission‑only pay, meeting weekly/monthly quotas, and enduring long days outdoors.
  • Intend to treat this role as a long‑term career track (staying beyond the summer) if both sides are satisfied with performance.
  • Reliable, coachable, and capable of committing to a rigorous ramp period.
