Position Summary:

Ambe Engineering is currently looking for an ambitious and skilled Automotive Program Manager to join our team in Detroit, Michigan. As the Automotive Program Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing multiple automotive projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness throughout the process. We are seeking a candidate with 3-7 years of experience in the automotive industry who is well-versed in project management, budgeting, and various aspects of supply chain and quality management.

Responsibilities:- Utilize your deep Automotive Industry Knowledge to oversee and manage various automotive projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented.
- Implement APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) methodologies to ensure high-quality deliverables and satisfied customers.
- Manage vendor relationships and supply chain activities to optimize efficiency and minimize risks.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle, implementing effective risk management strategies.
- Oversee the quality management process, ensuring that all projects meet industry standards and customer requirements.

Requirements:- 3-7 years of experience in the automotive industry, with a strong background in project management, budgeting, and quality management.
- Proven track record of successful cross-functional collaboration and vendor management.
- Solid understanding of supply chain management principles and practices.
- Ability to effectively manage risks and implement quality management processes.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
